Mini M&S Concert - July 13, 3:00PM
This concert is presented by the Mini Mountains & Strings participants at the Ranchview Picnic Shelter in Harriman State Park. These musicians are 12 years old and under, but don't let that fool you. You will be amazed at what can be accomplished when families are supportive of their children at a young age.
Eric Grossman Violinist - July 17, 7:30PM
This year, behind the Jones House at Harriman State Park, Eric will present another amazing recital of dazzling violin pieces that defy human understanding. Come enjoy this rare opportunity to see and hear some of the most famous violin masterpieces performed in person by a world-class virtuoso from our time.
Folk, Fiddle, Fun Concert - July 19, 7:30PM
A very popular concert for both audience and performer, the Folk-Fiddle-Fun concert is packed with music to please everyone. The violins, violas, cellos and basses take turns dazzling the audience with fast paced fiddle tunes and other folk melodies. This is also where you'll hear the famous Mountains & Strings Cello Choir. This concert will also take place behind the Jones House at Harriman State Park.
Chamber Ensemble Concert - July 20, 3:00PM
This concert is for close friends and family of the retreat participants to see them perform their small ensemble pieces. These performances are held simultaneously in the Scovell Center and Dining Hall. Most of the rehearsal time during the week is spent preparing for this concert. The performers dress up in their concert best and perform some of the most beautiful music ever written.
Mountains & Strings Chamber Orchestra - July 20, 7:30PM
The final concert of the series will be held in Harriman State Park at the Ranchview Picnic Shelter. This concert will feature strikingly beautiful music presented by the Mountains & Strings Chamber Orchestra and guaranteed to take your breath away.
